Literature and Languages Department

The Literature and Languages is the second largest department at Ibenga Girls Secondary School. This department has grown in strength from the inception of the school to date. The department also houses three sections which include the English, Literature and French Sections.

      • Pupils' Performance

      In terms of Continuous Assessment (C.A), the school and the Languages Department in particular has a policy of ensuring that pupils are assessed thrice in the term, that is, two monthly tests and the end of term test. However, examination classes (9 and 12s) sit for two tests and examination practice in term one and two monthly tests and mock examination in term two. As concerns the national examination, the department has been performing tremendously well.
